Rotary Club of Mid-City New Orleans was chartered on February 27th, 2015. We are a group of people united through hands-on service to our Mid-City New Orleans community and the world.
Our founders sought to eliminate many of the barriers that keep people from joining Rotary Clubs like work conflicts and financial constraints. To help address common barriers, we formed as an evening club, we meet twice a month, we focus on hands-on service, and we keep our dues low.
While we fully embrace the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”, the Rotary Club of Mid-City New Orleans has additionally adopted the motto “Service First, Drinks Second…” as we often follow up service projects and events by socializing over drinks at one of Mid-City’s amazing spots.
